NH-Maine LEND has developed a partnership with the New Mainers Public Health Initiative (NMPHI), a public health and social service agency, headquartered in Lewiston, Maine, that serves New Mainers, recent immigrants to the secondary resettlement area, and their families. The mission of NMPHI is: to work collaboratively within the community to educate New Mainers about preventative health measures by promoting healthy habits, protecting against disease, and linking community members with available and appropriate resources…
